My Approach

My approach is to provide a safe place where clients feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment while working to achieve personal growth and wellness. I am a firm believer in and practitioner of mindfulness and utilize this practice in conjunction with a keen awareness of emotion and how our past experiences shape our present beliefs. I utilize interactive cognitive behavioral techniques with a combination of acceptance and change to assist my clients in reaching their goals.  

  

I am a generalist practitioner and use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic disciplines to help, guide, and support clients as they learn and practice tangible skills that will empower them. These tools can help clients learn ways to tolerate stress, regulate their own emotions, improve relationships, and gain greater self-awareness, resiliency, peace and joy in their lives.

Investing in oneself through time, commitment, and a willingness to engage in therapy is the most courageous and precious gift you can give yourself. As your therapist, I will be with you every step of your journey as we explore your core story and help you make sense of where you are in your life.
